    LES APIERS D'ALIÉNOR

Passionate beekeeper located in Charente Maritime, I created Les Apiers d'Aliénor 5 years ago, a family farm with 250 colonies today.

My work is based on a simple philosophy: to carefully produce exceptional honeys, exclusively from my hives which reflect a terroir and a season.

I harvest 6 vintages from three different terroirs during the beekeeping season. The whole composes a range of unique flavors:

    * Plaines Saintongeaises: spring honey, creamy and light. Summer honey, sunny and slightly tangy.
    * Coteaux Charentais: acacia honey, delicate and floral. Forest honey, intense with caramelized notes.
    * Corréziennes mountains: buckthorn honey, amber with quince aromas. Wildflower honey, a fruity poly-floral.

I do not blend my honeys, each harvest reflets its environment. Unheated, they retain all their richness, both in terms of taste and nutrition.

Two of my honeys – spring honey and forest honey – were rewarded with a gold medal during the last Saveurs Nouvelle-Aquitaine competition in automn.

I will be delighted to meet you and let you taste my products
