The Mélusine brewery, located in Chanverrie in the Vendée (85500), was founded in 2001. It is dedicated exclusively to the production of craft and 100% natural beers. In 2005, the brewery was taken over and moved towards the hospitality market. In 2009, after a considerable investment in production and packaging equipment, Mélusine joined the Canardou brewery and began to produce a full range of organic beers. Currently, the brewery produces more than 35,000 hectoliters of beer per year, and from the beginning of 2019, a new investment increased its capacity to 40,000 hectoliters per year.

NEWBEERS

In 2020, Mr. Laurent Boiteau founded the NEWBEERS holding company, which today brings together four renowned French craft breweries: Melusine, Parisis, Page 24, and La Berlue. This commercial synergy works for the promotion of craft beers.
