Description :
The carp, emblem of Dombes, is an essential fish for the survival of ponds. Concerned about maintaining the ponds and biodiversity, the Association for the Promotion of Fish of the Ponds of Dombes (APPED) then had the idea of using the fish as a whole while retaining its skin. With the skin, we are able to make fish leather and thus provide better value to the carp.
